JUNE PISANO

The historical events are:

• Luminara of S. Ranieri: on June 16th, dedicated to St. Ranieri, Saint Patron of the city, Pisa with its thousands of candles that draw the outlines of buildings and bridges, creating a beautiful and unique atmosphere that seems to bring you back to the past.

• Historical Regata of San Ranieri is held annually on June 17ththat is Saint Ranieri Patron of Pisa. Four boats representing the four old districts - two from the North and two from the South of the city, race a regata along the water of Arno river. The race stars at sunset time, after the historical procession that recalls the splendor of the Republic Maritime .

• Bridge Game every four years, it is a historical and commemoration event taking place on the last Saturday of June and it has two key moments: the historical parade along the Arno River and the Battle on the Ponte di Mezzo.
